Orange Leaf

When I first heard of this new Orange Leaf place I thought it was some sort of Chinese restaurant. However, I was quickly corrected and told that it was a frozen yoogurt place. I had never heard of Orange Leaf prior to its addition to Cedar Rapids, but apparently it's all the rage in Chicago and Mall of America.
The other day I made a journey over to Westdale to see this place that everyone has been buzzing about. Walking in I was surprised by its bubbly orange, white, and green interior design with strange plastic chairs and couches especially when Sinatra was playing in the background. I awkwardly walked around not exactly knowing where to go but eventually found my way to the cups. I chose a little one and nervously approached the thingies out of which the yogurt is dispensed and pulled the handle of the chocolate one. From there I topped my chocolate fro yo with miscellaneous toppings (they have some interesting choices) and went to the scale to pay. You weigh, then pay and then are free to sit and enjoy your yogurt. I sat on the couch (the little plastic chairs looked uncomfortable) and was thoroughly impressed with my concoction! Orange Leaf is all that it's cracked up to be and I'm anxiously awaiting for the one to open on our side of town. Try it for yourself:) You won't be disappointed.
